AP64100Q Synchronous Buck Converter Diodes Incorporated
The AP64100Q synchronous buck converter is a 1A synchronous buck converter compliant with automotive standards, with a wide input voltage range of 3.8V to 40V. Diodes Incorporated The device fully integrates a 150mΩ high-side power MOSFET and an 80mΩ low-side power MOSFET to provide efficient step-down DC-DC conversion. Due to the peak current mode control, the AP64100Q device can be easily used by minimizing the number of external components.
The AP64100Q design is optimized for reducing electromagnetic interference (EMI). Diodes Incorporated The device has a proprietary gate driver solution that can resist switching node ringing without sacrificing MOSFET turn-on and turn-off time, thereby reducing high-frequency radiation EMI noise caused by MOSFET switching. AP64100Q also has a spread spectrum (FSS) with a switching frequency jitter of ±6%, which reduces EMI by not allowing the emitted energy to stay at any frequency for a long time.
