STMicroelectronics channel automotive high-side driver VN9D30Q100F 6 is based on VIPower technology, optimized for driving directly grounded resistive or inductive loads.
The device provides voltage transient protection on the VCC pin. Through the SPI bus for programming, control and diagnosis.
VN9D30Q100F provides digital current detection feedback for each channel through an integrated 10-bit ADC with 0.1% FSR. The dedicated trimming bit supports the adjustment of ADC reference current. VN9D30Q100F is equipped with 6 outputs that can be controlled via SPI or is equipped with 2-OTP, which can be assigned direct inputs.
The device can detect open-circuit loads under off-state conditions. VN9D, M0-9T technology devices have digital current and chip temperature detection functions for automotive applications powered by 12V battery rails.

VN9D30Q100F provides real-time diagnosis via SPI bus. The output current limit protects the device under overload conditions. The device can limit the power dissipation to a safe level until the intervention of thermal shutdown. Thermal shutdown can be configured as latching or automatic restart with programmable time limit.

In the event of loss of digital power (VDD), digital memory reset, or watchdog monitoring timeout event, the device enters Limp Home mode. In Limp Home mode, each output is set according to the programming register: always off, or according to 2 direct input pins.

STMicroelectronics VN9D30Q100F 6-channel high-side driver adopts 6.0mmx6.0mm QFN package. The device complies with the AEC-Q100 standard and can be used in automotive applications.
