For example, when the power supply is started, SIDAC (silicon bidirectional trigger diode) can sense the rise in voltage and automatically turn on the circuit, avoiding the delay and unreliability of traditional mechanical switches. At the same time, SIDAC is also used in overvoltage protection circuit, when the voltage is abnormally increased, SIDAC will quickly turn on, bypass the excess energy, and protect the subsequent circuit from damage.
