Inrush Current Limiters (ICL)

Inrush Current Limiters (ICL), also known as Inrush Current Limiters, use precise control technology to respond quickly at the moment of device startup to limit or smooth the processing of this powerful current. The core mechanism usually includes a power rectifier circuit, a current limiting resistor, and an intelligent sensing circuit that can automatically detect and adjust resistance access. When the device is powered on, the inductor generates an inductive current in the opposite direction of the inrush current, thereby offsetting part of the inrush current and achieving the purpose of limiting the current. Some of the inrush current limiter also uses nonlinear resistance elements to further limit the current by changing the resistance value.
