Analog Devices Inc. ADP5055 Triple Buck Regulators are an integrated power solution that combines three high performance buck regulators in a compact package. The ADP5055 can interface directly to input voltages up to 18V without the use of a pre-regulator. All channels on the ADP5055 integrate high-side and low-side power MOSFETs for an optimized efficiency solution. Channel 1 and Channel 2 provide 3.5A or 7.0A programmable output current, or provide a single output with up to 14.0A in parallel operation. Channel 3 provides 1.5A or 3.0A programmable output current.
The switching frequency of the Analog Devices Inc. ADP5055 is programmable or synchronized to an external clock. The ADP5055 includes an enable pin (ENx) on each channel to facilitate power-up sequencing or to set adjustable undervoltage lockout (UVLO) thresholds.

The Analog Devices Inc. ADP5055 integrates a high-precision 8-bit digital-to-analog converter (DAC) that enables dynamic voltage scaling (DVS) of the output voltage through a PMBus®-compatible 2-wire interface. The PMBus interface provides additional flexible configurations such as start-up and shutdown sequence control, individual forced pulse width modulation or power-saving mode (FPWM or PSM) selection, output discharge switch and power good signal.

The ADP5055 triple buck regulator is available in a compact 5.0mm x 5.50mm land grid array (LGA) package with a junction temperature range of -40°C to +150°C.
