Maxim Integrated MAX33076E High-Speed RS-422/RS-485 Receiver
Maxim Integrated MAX33076E High-Speed Quad RS-422/RS-485 Receiver provides high CMR, high fault protection, and high ESD for harsh electrical environments. These devices operate in the +3.3V, +5.0V range. A high CMR of ±25V helps to receive messages when there is a large difference between the two nodes or large external disturbances from motors or other sources of electrical noise. The MAX33076E provides extended fault protection to ±65V, protecting data lines from accidental shorts to the power supply. In addition, the high ESD HBM of ±25kV also protects data lines from ESD strikes during production or in the field.
The Maxim MAX33076E High-Speed Quad RS-422 and RS-485 Receiver has true fault circuitry, with all drivers disabled, the receiver output is high when open, shorted, or connected to a terminated transmission line.
The G and Ḡ pins on the MAX33076E are configured as active-high and active-low, respectively, and enable or disable the output. These devices are pin compatible with the MAX3095-96 receiver.
The MAX33076E is available in a 16-pin SOIC or QSOP package and is specified over the -40°C -- +125°C temperature range.
