NXP Semiconductors S32K3, automotive general-purpose MCU is a scalable 32-bit MCU based on ArmCortex-M7, with single-step, double-step, lock-step core configuration, supporting B/D safety applications. The S32K3 includes a hardware security engine with NXP firmware that supports firmware over-the-air (FOTA) updates and a free ISO.26262 compliant real-time driver (RTD) for AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR.
The NXP S32K3 automotive general-purpose MCU is packaged in a MaxQFP package, which reduces the package size by up to 55% compared to the standard QFP package.
