Silicon Labs EFM8BB51 and EFM8BB52 Busy Bee MCUs are multi-purpose MCUs with comprehensive functions and compact packages. These devices can integrate advanced analog and communication peripherals in a small package, providing customers with very high value. EFM8BB51 and EFM8BB52 MCUs feature high-efficiency 8051 cores, 5V I/O, precision analog and enhanced pulse width modulation, and are suitable for embedded applications.
Silicon Labs EFM8BB51/EFM8BB52 Busy Bee MCU includes on-chip power-on reset, voltage supply monitor, and integrated clock oscillator. The flash memory can be reprogrammed in the circuit, provides non-volatile data storage, and allows on-site firmware upgrades. The on-chip debug interface (C2) allows online debugging using the production MCU installed in the final application. The debugging logic supports checking and modifying memory and registers, setting breakpoints, single stepping, and run and stop commands. When debugging, all analog and digital peripherals are fully functional.

EFM8BB51 MCU is available in 20-pin TSSOP and QFN packages. The device's rated operating voltage is 1.8V to 5.5V. EFM8BB52 MCU is available in 20-pin and 28-pin QFN packages, or 24-pin QSOP packages. The device's rated operating voltage is 2.2V to 3.6V, or up to 5.25V, and the regulator option is 5V. All packaging options are lead-free and comply with the RoHS directive.
