Texas Instruments BQ756506-Q1 automotive 6S precision battery monitor provides high-precision battery voltage measurement of up to 6S battery modules. The device can provide the above measurement within 200 µ s, and also supports shunt resistor current detection measurement. With the help of integrated front-end filter, a simple, low rated voltage differential RC filter can be used on the battery input channel to realize the system. In addition, the integrated rear ADC low-pass filter can perform filtered, DC like voltage measurements.
TI BQ756506-Q1 automotive 6S battery monitor supports integrated current detection function and can be synchronized with battery voltage measurement to better calculate the State of Charge (SOC).
