TI HDC302x/HDC302x-Q1 Digital Humidity Sensors are integrated capacitive relative humidity and temperature sensors. Provides high-accuracy measurements over a wide supply range (1.62V--5.5V) with ultra-low power consumption. This temperature and humidity sensor is 100% tested and conditioned in a T-traceable production environment and validated with ISO 17025 compliant equipment.
Offset error correction reduces relative humidity sensor offset due to aging, exposure to extreme operating environments, and contaminants, bringing the device back into compliance with accuracy specifications. Automatic measurement mode and ALERT function maximize MCU sleep time for battery IoT applications, thereby reducing system power consumption. Four different I2C addresses support up to 1MHz speed. A heating element is provided to dissipate condensation and moisture.
The TI HDC3020/HDC3020-Q1 is an open cavity package without a protective cover. Both device variants are available with a cover option to protect the open cavity relative humidity sensors (HDC3021/HDC3020-Q1 and HDC3022/HDC3021-Q1). The HDC3021/HDC 3021-Q1 feature a removable protective strip for conformal coating and PCB washdown. The HDC3022/HDC3022-Q1 has a permanent IP67 filter membrane for protection against dust and water as well as for PCB washdown. The HDC 3020-Q1 device is AEC-Q100 qualified for automotive applications.
