1. What is a logic level comparator?
A logic level comparator is an electronic device that compares the magnitude of two voltage signals and outputs a corresponding high or low level according to the comparison result. Comparators are usually used in applications such as digitization of analog signals, voltage comparison and triggering.
Working Principle
A comparator is usually composed of a differential amplifier with two input terminals (positive input terminal and negative input terminal) and an output terminal. When the voltage at the positive input is higher than that at the negative input, the output voltage is high; when the voltage at the negative input is higher than that at the positive input, the output voltage is low. When the voltages at the two inputs are equal, the output voltage depends on the characteristics of the comparator. There may be a certain offset voltage, or the output is in an uncertain state. -

Its transfer characteristics are drawn by finding the threshold and analyzing the output voltage change law when the input voltage changes from the lowest to the highest and from the highest to the lowest.
