The three Hall elements are combined to create two independent differential channels. These channels are handled by an IC that contains a complex digital circuit designed to eliminate the adverse effects of magnets and system offsets. Hall differential signaling is used to generate a highly accurate speed output and, when required, provide information about the direction of rotation.
