Molex has released a new Micro-Lock Plus wire-to-board connector system for customers in automotive, industrial and consumer applications that provides reliable electrical and mechanical performance in a compact, high temperature design. The connector system is available in two sizes, 2.00mm pitch and 1.25mm pitch. 2.00mm pitch versions offer 2 to 16 circuits in a single row, available in vertical and horizontal configurations; connectors with latches provide an audible click when latched; external locks provide extra strength; SMT terminals prevent Fuzzing issues; metal tabs reduce strain on seams; and provide dual contacts in extended terminal and plunger areas. The 1.25mm pitch version comes in a variety of colors; offers up to 42 circuits in single and double rows; and offers internal locks for dual connections and external locks for single-circuit connections.
