Texas Instruments low-power high-speed operational amplifier OPAx863 (op amp) is a unity gain stable, rail-to-rail input and output, voltage feedback operational amplifier. The OPAx863 device is designed to work in the 2.7V-12.6V supply voltage range. Each channel consumes only 700µA current, the gain bandwidth product is 50MHz, the conversion rate is 105V/µs, and the voltage noise density is 5.9nV/√Hz.
Rail-to-rail input stage, 2.7V power supply, for portable battery-powered applications. The differential input stage perfectly matches the gain bandwidth product and noise in the entire input common-mode voltage range, has a wide input dynamic range, and provides excellent performance. OPA863 has a power-down (PD) mode. The PD quiescent current is 1.5µs, which is turned on or off within 10µs.
Texas Instruments device OPAx863A has an overload power limit function, which can limit the increase of quiescent current with saturated output, thereby preventing excessive dissipation in battery-powered systems. The output stage has short-circuit protection characteristics, so it is a very rugged amplifier suitable for common applications.
