The Sequans Monarch 2 GM02S chip module is an LTE Cat M1/NB1/NB2 module based on the Monarch 2 chip platform. The module offers great improvements in performance and power consumption while providing seamless migration through Sequans' existing LTE-M/NB-IoT protocol stack.
The Sequans Monarch 2 GM02S chip module is included in the "S" series module family and features a minimal yet cost-effective form factor that requires no external components. The Monarch 2 GM02S implements a Single-SKU™ RF front-end. Deployable in any frequency band worldwide, along with an integrated EAL5+ secure enclave, allowing secure key storage and encryption applications and an integrated SIM (iSIM).
The low-power MCU provides a code port for the module through a feature-rich SDK. The Monarch 2 GM02S operates on a single rail supply starting at 2.2V, unlocking battery and eBOM savings. Sequans designs and owns the chipsets and software used in all of its modules, ensuring fast time-to-market and lower total cost of ownership for device manufacturers.
